Also resumes the game to the part during the battle if you chose the Suspend command (see Suspend in Tips section). Appears when you have at least one saved file. Restart Chapter - Lets you choose a saved chapter to start the chapter from the beginning. Appears when you have at least one saved file. Copy Data - Lets you copy a certain data. Only appears if you have at least one saved file and one empty slot. Erase Data - Gives you the option to choose a data to erase. New Game - Starts a new game when you have at least one empty slot. Extras - Link Arena - Edit Teams - Build Team - Choose a certain saved file. - Pick 5 units. Press A to choose a unit and press A again to the unit to cancel the chosen unit. Units with no weapons cannot join a team. Press Start to confirm. - Trade items by pressing A on two characters and select the item to trade. - Enter a Team Name. Only 9 characters are allowed. Select OK to confirm. - Unit List - Shows the list of the units of a certain team. - Swap - Switches teams. - Disband - Deletes a team. - Link Menu - Return to the link menu. - Practice - Here, you can choose 2, 3, or 4 teams by pressing left or right. Unit - Views the different stats of all the characters. Press left/right to view its different sections: - Character - Views all the characters' class, level, experience, current and max HP. - Fighting Skill - Views all the characters' statistics such as defense. - Equipment - Views all the characters' weapons, attack, hit percent and avoid. - Personal Data - Views all the characters' move range, condition, aid, etc. - Weapon Level - Views all the characters' weapon support (type of weapons that can be used by a certain character) and its weapon level. - Support Chance - Views all the characters' ally. Status - Views the objectives to accomplish in the chapter, the turn # you are in, your funds, total time played, and the number of ally and enemy units and their leaders. It allows you to quickly trade items between your units, choose which units to bring as it is limited to bring units depending on how many units are required to bring. You can even view some tips! When you're done, press START to battle. Pick Units - Allows you to select units to bring. The units are limited and you have to bring the main character. Trade Fortune - Can only be accessible from Chapter 14. - View information's/tips in a certain chapter which is helpful but you have to pay for it. Check Map - You can view the map here and check the number/types of enemies. Each command has a different conditions in order for them to become available. The commands are listed according and depending on the situation. Key: Battle Command - Class/Unit that can be able to use the command. - How to make the command appear. - Effects. ---------------------------------- Attack - This command is used by most of the ally or enemy units. - To attack, you must place your unit next to the enemy and select attack, then select a weapon. - Inflicts damage to opponent. Play/Dance - Command used by Bard/Dancer. - Available when you place a Bard adjacent to an ally that has already finished his/her turn (grey colored unit). - It enables an ally to make a turn again. Staff - Command used by Clerics. - Move your cleric to a place adjacent to a unit and select Staff. - An effect depends on the weapon. Example, if you have Healing Staff, it will heal your allies but you cannot use the Healing Staff to an enemy. Steal - Command used by thieves. - Only appears when you moved a thief next beside the enemy who has an item that you can steal (not a weapon). - Steal an item from an enemy. Not 100% accurate. ---------------------------------- Armory - All classes. - Appears when you moved a character to an armory (looks like a fortress). - Here, you can buy weapons. Vendor - All classes. - Appears when you moved a character to a vendor (looks like a fortress). - You can buy items here. Inn - All classes - Appears when you moved a character to an inn. - Unknown. Arena - All classes. - Appears when you moved a unit on an Arena door. - Enables a unit to participate in an Arena. Visit - All classes. - This is available when you are standing at an open village door (a village that has never been visited) or a small house. - Enables a unit to talk to a villager. Here, you might be able to recruit members or get a treasure from a villager. Seize - Lords. - To seize, go defeat the boss guarding a gate and move a lord (like Lyn) to the gate. Some battle events requires you to seize a gate in order for you to win (winning condition). - Wins the battle. ---------------------------------- Chest - Unit that has a key. - Appears when you move a unit that has a key to the locked chest. - Opens a locked treasure chest. Door - Unit that has a Door Key. - Appears when you move a unit that has a key to the locked door. - Opens a locked door. ---------------------------------- Rescue - Unit that has a higher Aid than the units constitution. - Appears when you moved a unit that has a higher value of Aid adjacent to an ally that has a lower Constitution. - Rescue's an ally preventing the enemies from attacking the rescued ally. Good strategy to be used when an ally's HP is low. Give - Rescuing unit. A unit that is under Aid. - Appears when you move a unit that is currently under aid (rescuing unit, unit that is carrying an ally) next to an ally with a higher Aid than the rescued units Constitution. - Enables the rescued unit to transfer from the rescuing unit to another ally. Take - Unit that has a higher Aid than the rescued units constitution. - Appears when you move a unit next to an ally that is currently under aid (rescuing unit, unit that is carrying an ally). The moving units Aid should be higher than the rescued units Constitution. - Enables the rescued unit to transfer from the rescuing unit to another ally. Drop - Rescuing unit. A unit that is under Aid. - Appears when the current unit is carrying an ally. - Drops the rescued unit to the battlefield. ---------------------------------- Item - Unit that has an item in their inventory. - Appears after you moved a unit that has an item or weapon in their inventory. - Enables you to use an item like Vulnerary. Trade - All classes. - To trade, place your unit right next to your other unit that has an item in their inventory. Select the trade command, and both of your units' items will be displayed. Select an item by pressing the A button and move it using the directional buttons. After you've finished trading, press B to end the process. - Trade items. ---------------------------------- Merch - All classes. - Appears when your current unit is placed next to a Tent unit. - Let's you give or take items/weapons from the tent. ---------------------------------- Ride - Archers. - Appears when a unit is placed next to a Ballista. - Enables them to use a Ballista. Ballista are stronger than bows and has a longer range than a bow. Exit - Archers. - Becomes available when your unit is riding a Ballista. - Gets off the Ballista. ---------------------------------- Support - All classes. - Appears when you leave two units next to each other for a couple of turns. - Makes the two units "Ally". Talk - All classes. - Appears when you moved a unit next to an ally that you can talk to. - Nothing special.
